SOUTH AFRICA PARLIAMENT FIRE FLARES UP AGAIN

A devastating fire that cleared through South Africa’s Houses of Parliament in Cape Town has reignited – hours after it was said to be beneath control.


Blazes have been surging from the building’s roof. Firefighters are at the scene, attempting to drench the blast.


The fire to begin with broke out on Sunday, completely wrecking the National Gathering, or lower chamber.


Police have captured a suspect who will show up in court on Tuesday on charges of arson, burglary and theft.
