The Sekondi-Takoradi Masquerader's culture is without a doubt one of the most popular traditions in the world right now, having garnered respect from all corners.

Tons of foreigners go to the picturesque twin city solely to observe the event, which is celebrated and climaxed with the Westside Carnival on December 25th and 26th, including New Year's Day, with millions of people watching it virtually globally.

However, local and worldwide celebrities have reacted to the celebration, which includes participants walking the streets in colorful costumes and face masks, exhibiting and dancing to brass band music.

Jidenna, an American singer best known for his smash song "Classic Man," is the most recent star to react. As the masqueraders grooved to his 'Bambi' hit song copied by the brass band crew, he was awestruck by the exquisite culture, exclaiming, "From Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana, this is fantastic!!!" "Best wishes for the coming year."

He reacted to the video by posting it on his Instagram, video below:

Also, Nigerian megastar Rudeboy of PSquare fame did not want to be left out of the festivities, so he released a video of the Christmas party in Takoradi on his Facebook page, in which a group of people danced to a brass band version of his popular tune, Reason With Me.

"Shoutout to my #firedepartment in #takoradi#reasonwithme musically rude...... Album loading........," he said.
