Planning is a very important aspect of our lives, and as humans we tend to plan our day to day activities and from time to time as a result of planning.

This helps us to know exactly what our next moves will be and to track our progress as well.

As a nation, planning is also important, especially, with regards to holidays, to help the citizenship plan their activities such as parties, visits, excursions and trips throughout the year.

For 2022, the government, through the Ministry of Interior, has issued a communique with regards to holidays that would be in effect this year.

With 13 holidays in total, two these holidays are are already spent and gone, while there are 11 more holidays to go, with two of them which are religious holidays not yet pinned to a particular date, as the date changes each year.

However, two days ( AU day and Republic Day) which were holidays a couple of years back and are now commemorative days and continues to be so, meaning, they will not be observed as holidays.
