A news fast circulating online has a man identified as ovye yakubu over an alleged case of this mentioned man beating his wife to death over a mosquito net.
The Nasarawa Nigerian state police arrested Mr yakubu over the death of his wife Esther Aya Anjugu.
According to reports the incident happened at the couples residence Sabonpegi-Shabu community of Lafia Lafia North Development Area on Friday, January 7, 2022.
A family memeber of the deceased who witnessed everything said to the media that, the wife of Mr yakubu who is deceased now brought in a carpenter to fix a mosquito net in their bedroom of which Yakubu did not agree and stopped the carpenter. Esther Aya who was not satisfied with his husbands actions confronted him and that brought a heated argument between these couple.
Mr Ovye Yakubu who couldn’t control his angry attacked his wife and beat her till she lost life.
In the process of writing article it is fully confirmed Mr yakubu has been arrested by the police and investigations is still ongoing to reveal the real mystery behind this sad incident. Police also invited the carpenter for questioning and he claimed yakubu chased him out of the house so as to what brought about the heated argument and beatings he can’t give vid vid information on that.
Neighbors also claimed before the demise of Esther she was looking so depressed and frail over a period of time.
