Silva, Kante start for Chelsea

Thomas Tuchel makes five changes to the Chelsea team that defeated Tottenham on Wednesday night to advance to the Carabao Cup final.

Thiago Silva and N'Golo Kante have returned to Chelsea following their respective Covid isolation periods.

Marcos Alonso takes over at left wing-back, while Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech return to support Romelu Lukaku in attack.

Chelsea's bench includes Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Jorginho, while Andreas Christensen is out with Covid.

Grealish, Foden, Sterling start for City

Pep Guardiola makes six changes to the Manchester City team that defeated Swindon Town in the FA Cup third round.

An all-English City attack will be led by Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, and Raheem Sterling.

John Stones and Aymeric Laporte join the defense in front of goalkeeper Ederson, who takes over for Zack Steffen.

Jones Knows’ prediction

If my math and equations are correct, this should be an exciting encounter, albeit one with a low score.

Manchester City is cruising to the Premier League title, having won their last 11 league games and scoring 33 goals in the process. Sky Bet's odds of 4/6 for a home win are likely to entice many. But not for me.

Chelsea have proven that their winter sway was just that: a sway.

Thomas Tuchel has had his team running like a well-oiled machine since the 40th minute of their 2-2 draw with Liverpool. Tuchel had beaten Man City three times in a row prior to the 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge earlier this season. Pep Guardiola's City and Barcelona have met four times.
