A police officer whose identity has not yet been disclosed by the Ghana Police Service has been stabbed to death in the Bono Region.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, January 16, the police announced the tragic news.
The police have not provided detailed information about the deceased cops because according to them, his family and successor are yet to receive the tragic news.
The media as well as the general public have been cautioned against disclosing the identity of the deceased cop and also broadcasting or publishing sensitive stories about the tragedy.
Meanwhile, the police said the person suspected to be responsible for the death of the police officer has been shot and killed.
