Black Stars gamers to receive $30K each, Milovan to take $60K if Ghana beats Comoros
The Ghana Black Stars' 28-man roster in Cameroon for the present Africa Cup of Nations tournament is expected to get $30,000 each player if they win their match against Comoros.
Milovan Rajevac, the coach, will be paid twice as much as the qualifying bonus for the loss to Morocco and the tie with Gabon, bringing the total to $900,000.
After losing to Morocco and tying with Gabon, Ghana's chances of qualifying for the next stage of the ongoing tournament are bleak.
Prior to the start of the AFCON, Mustapha Ussif, the Minister for Youth and Sports, revealed that the Black Stars will require $25 million for their AFCON 2022 and World Cup campaigns.
This was revealed during a breakfast meeting between Corporate Ghana and the CEOs of state-owned enterprises.
These institutions discussed how funding could be obtained for the Black for the contests in which Ghana is currently on unstable ground at a meeting held at the Jubilee House.
Corporate organizations, on the other hand, will relieve the Sports Ministry's financial load, allowing them to focus on other sports.
