Martin Keown, a former Arsenal player, has urged his former club to sabotage Tottenham's pursuit for Wolves' Adama Traore.
Since arriving from Middlesbrough in 2015, the Spaniard has appeared in over 150 matches for the Midlands team across all competitions.
The 25-year-excellent old's performances for Wolves have piqued the interest of a number of Europe's top clubs.
Tottenham are considered to be the frontrunners for his signing, with Traore being their first choice as Antonio Conte looks to add a new right wing-back to his squad.
Spurs' north London rivals, however, should enter the competition for the winger, according to former defender Keown. Traore shouted his praises on BBC's Final Score after Wolves' 3-1 victory over Southampton at the weekend, in which the 55-year-old rounded off the hard-earned triumph with a goal.
'I think Traore is fantastic at times, and we get the satisfaction of seeing it,' Keown added.
'He gives a great finish.' If I were a manager, I'd sign him. Arsenal, get in there and get him!'
Mikel Arteta, despite Keown's support, is anxious for a true striker to lead the line in January.
The future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Emirates is questionable, and the contracts of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are set to expire in the summer.
