News reaching Ghanaians this afternoon has it that a 15 year old boy has been beheaded by a group of fulani at Nhyiaeso in the Asante Akyim North municipality of the Ashanti region.
According to reports these herdsmen beheaded this young boy because he denied them access to a stream where they wanted their cattle’s to drink from.
The Assembly member from the area, Honorable Peter Abaji told salt Fm that he was called by some people of the community to come witness what had happened. According to him the boy together with his friends had gone to the stream to fetch some water and catch some fish until this sad incident happened.
According to the friends of the deceased, they were almost done with their fishing and was about leaving when this Fulani herdsmen appeared and told them to leave so their cattle’s can drink some water.
They continued to narrate that, they were about leaving when these herdsmen pulled out a knife and started slashing the young boy till he was completely dead. His left hand and head was completely cut off and the rest of the boys had to run for their life and report the incident to the authorities of the community.
The angered members of the community attacked these herdsmen and were able to arrest three of them and hand them over to the police.
