Here some tips..
1.Money comes hard but leaves easy .In other words ,it's easy to spend money ,it's difficult to accumulate it.
2.People who have lots of money don't spend it lavishly .They are very careful with their money Always spend money wisely .Think about whether that toy is really going to give you that much satisfaction.
3.No pain ,no gain. If you can recall that little experiment with the kid who was promised three cookies if he didn't eat the one on the plate placed in front of him for ten minutes .What did most kids do? They waited about 30seconds and then gave in to temptation .A few kids were wise and toughed it out for the ten minutes to have three cookies .Delayed gratification is the key to success in life ,money and cookies.
4.Saving money is fun .Actually it's more fun than spending money. That's almost impossible to convey to a five year old ,pretty tough sell to a twelve year old, and a moderately difficult convincing job to and an eighteen year old .But it's the key to frugality ,and frugality is the key to wealth accumulation and investing success.
5.Money is one part of power. The other parts are knowledge and people skills. To succeed in life you must have all three.
6.Ther are 5 aspects to being wealthy.
a. Physical and mental health (being whole in mind and body)
b .Spiritual well being and health (understand your place in the universe)
c. Friends ,family and love(loving someone and being loved)
d. purpose ,desire ,passion for something(doing something with your life )
e. financial well being(having enough money).
so ,don't focus only on the 5th,be aware and make plans and progress on all five
My kids know all these ,and practice them in varying degrees of success. They both quite wealthy and happy ,attributable mostly to the dedication of the love of my life ,my wife.
