Liverpool will be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-last against Arsenal.

Oxlade-Chamberlain experienced a lower leg injury in Sunday's 3-0 Premier League prevail upon Brentford and, while Liverpool is confident he faces just a transient lay-off, the midfielder has been governed out of the game at Emirates Stadium.

With Oxlade-Chamberlain missing and Thiago Alcantara actually out harmed, Curtis Jones is in line to begin in midfield close by Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.
