Kevin De Bruyne, a Manchester City midfielder, has picked his ultimate 5-a-side team, which includes three Premier League players.
Rio Ferdinand was recently asked to choose his best five players, with no goalkeepers included, in a recent interview.
PSG's Neymar and Lionel Messi, as well as Premier League adversary N'Golo Kante, teammate Bernardo Silva, and Virgil van Djik, were among those he named.
When Ferdinand questioned if De Druyne thought Liverpool's defence was the best in the world, De Druyne complimented him. 'I believe he's up there,' he added. He was great before his injury, and it was clear that he had torn his ACL. 'He returned to a very high level.' It's impossible to say he's better than this player all of the time, but he's certainly among the top three in the world, along with Ruben [Dias] and a few others. I believe he is deserving of it.'
De Bruyne chose teammate Silva in the middle of the park instead of himself, comparing him to a Manchester City legend.
'In tiny areas, he's wonderful,' he added. David (Silva) comes to mind when I think about him.' People despise him because he's a wind-up. He gives you a little bit of everything, and he fits in wonderfully with my team. This year, his quality has been incredible.'"I need (N'Golo) Kante," De Bruyne stated when asked about his decision to play Kante in midfield.
The attack in De Bruyne's 5-a-side team includes PSG's Neymar and Messi, who De Bruyne has faced twice this season.
