Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has declined to comment on reports linking the French club with a deal for Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The Ligue 1 team, on the other hand, is 'listening and seeing what's going on,' according to the Argentine.

According to the Guardian, PSG are interested in signing Ndombele on a six-month loan with the option to buy at the conclusion of the season from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be considering parting company with Ndombele. Since joining the club from Lyon in 2019, the French midfielder has fallen short of expectations.

Mauricio Pochettino, on the other hand, has declined to discuss PSG's transfer ambitions or players from other teams.

"I prefer not to discuss rumours or players who are not members of our club. We have excellent players, and the club has done an outstanding job this summer. The window for transfers is now open. The club is paying attention and keeping an eye on what's going on "Pochettino was quoted by French journalist Hadrien Grenier in a press conference.

Tanguy Ndombele joined Tottenham from Lyon for £54 million in the summer of 2019. The midfielder failed to adjust to the Premier League's speed and physicality, and he was heavily chastised for his lacklustre performances. Last season, Ndombele showed signs of progress, scoring six goals in 46 appearances in all competitions. However, after the appointment of manager Antonio Conte, the 25-year-old has dropped down the pecking order.

Spurs are eager to recuperate the majority of the £54 million they paid for Ndombele.

Tanguy Ndombele of Tottenham Hotspur could be considered as a possible replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum by PSG.

Despite joining PSG only seven months ago, Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum could be on his way out of the Parc des Princes. After his contract with Liverpool expired at the end of last season, the 31-year-old joined PSG on a free transfer.

The midfielder, on the other hand, has struggled to make an impact for the French club and has been chastised for his lack of consistency. He has scored three goals in 25 appearances for the club in all competitions. "I can't say I'm fully pleased," Wijnaldum told Eurosport ahead of the Netherlands' World Cup qualifier against Gibraltar in November.

"This is not the circumstance I had hoped for." In recent years, I've played a lot, stayed in shape, and performed admirably. This is a new experience that will take some time to adjust to. I was looking forward to taking the next step, but then something happened. He went on to say, "It's quite difficult."

As a result, PSG may attempt to sell or loan out the former Liverpool player during the current transfer window. The French giants might then concentrate on signing Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele to replace Wijnaldum.
