In a Facebook post, Joy FM's court correspondent, Joseph Ackah Blay wrote "EC Commissioners sues Fixthecountry Campaigner, Oliver Baker, Chief Justice and Attorney General over publication of petition seeking their removal from office. The want the Chief Justice perpetually restrained from dealing with the petition".
It will be recalled that the Fixthecountry pressure group petitioned the President to remove the commissioners of the electoral commission for not conducting parliamentary elections in the SALL enclave in the 2020 elections.
Going according to proper constitutional practices, the matter was referred to the Chief Justice for investigation and prosecution of the petition.
