Dishonesty in any relationship is a strong indicator that it will not last. Lying is a major character trait that can affect everyone. And a person who is accustomed to lying can no longer be trusted.
Liars, on the other hand, cannot be identified or caught by their appearance. So, how can you tell if your partner is telling you the truth? How do you tell whether you're in a relationship where you're not being deceived?
Because of our confidence and belief in our mate, detecting a dishonest partner is difficult. Here are three methods for catching a partner who is lying.
1. Their story isn't going to add up.
When someone is lying, you will detect several inconsistencies in their statements. The story will be conflicted and will not make sense. So, if you find any inconsistency in your partner's tale, it's a clue he or she isn't telling the truth.
2. What they say is contradicted by their body language.
Another approach to catching a lying partner is to watch the person's body movement while they're talking. It's a symptom of dishonesty when your partner's body movement completely contradicts the tale he or she is telling. When a person claims to have a headache while stroking and rubbing their tummy, it's clear that he or she is completely fine.
3. Their story is inconsistent.
It is simpler for a person who is lying to forget the answers to specific questions, but the truth is always consistent. It's a clue that you're being duped if you discover that your partner gives multiple reports for the same occurrence. For example, what they said before differs from what they're saying now.
