What if Neymar's (29) replacement had already been identified? Brazil can brag of seeing the emergence of a bright young striker on a regular basis, such as Vinicius Junior (21), who is finally cementing his place with Real Madrid, or Antony (21), whose performances with Ajax Amsterdam this season have been incredible. However, in Brazil, another striker, just 15 years old, is making headlines in several local sports publications.

Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa, better known by his nickname 'Endrick,' was born on July 21, 2006, in the Brazilian capital of Brasilia. He is already on his way to becoming a global celebrity. The 1.73m tall centre-forward is generating a sensation at Palmeiras' development academy at the tender age of 15. Endrick has been scoring goals and making an impact for the Verdo's Under-20 team against defenders up to six years his senior for several weeks now.

A striker who plays in the same manner as Ronaldo.

Palmeiras supporters are already familiar with him, and some are quick to compare him to Vinicius Junior for his youth... or even Ronaldo for his style.

Endrick has been able to play as a winger, second striker, or up front since his debut with the Alviverde youth squad, and he has scored in all three positions. According to Marca, he is close to averaging a goal per game in about 150 appearances for the Palmeiras junior program.

The 15-year-old striker is noted for his quickness, acceleration, and, most importantly, his ability to finish. He has scored in all positions so far, but is best recognized for his ball control and dribbling abilities.

He's a guy who's already at ease in one-on-one situations and is hard to take the ball away from. Hundreds of thousands of people have seen some of his best images, and they are widely reported in Brazil.

The most prestigious clubs are already supporters.

Endrick was well remembered for his performance at the Copinha, a Brazilian U20 Cup. Despite getting hit by covid-19 throughout the competition, he scored seven goals in six games, but his most notable goal was a bicycle kick from outside the box that went viral on social media (versus Oeste in the quarter-finals (5-2)).

Endrick won the competition by a score of 4-0 against Santos, and he made his mark in the final by scoring the first goal. Brazilian online people voted him the best player of the competition, and he also won the prize for the most beautiful goal.

"I'm at ease, and I'm going to cheer for my teammates to win the Club World Cup. To avoid jeopardizing my career, I'm trying to focus on what I'm doing rather than the professional team. With God's help, I will one day achieve the professional level and begin a new career "He explained it to Globo TV after the final.

However, the prodigy is likely to be thinking about his future quickly now that he is making headlines in the Spanish sports press and is already a priority for several European giants, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester City, who, according to Sky Sports, have taken the lead.

Before selling him, Palmeiras wants to sign him to his first professional contract.

The prodigy, on the other hand, will have to wait and see. Although FIFA does not allow players under the age of 18 to transfer, it is possible to sign a pre-contract as early as the age of 16, as Vinicius Jr did when he joined Real Madrid.

"When he reaches 16 in July, he will sign a professional deal with Palmeiras," the phenomenon's representative told O Globo. This will, without a doubt, occur. There isn't any other option.

He has a training contract that is legally binding in Brazil. Someone might be willing to pay his existing clause. But why would he want to leave Palmeiras in the first place? The club has placed a wager on him. He asks

It's possible that it will happen sooner than you expect. The Sao Paulo club is already considering putting in a €100 million clause in order to beat the club's previous record-breaking transfer (Gabriel Jesus to Manchester City for €30 million in 2016).

Stade Rennais, in addition to the clubs mentioned above, has apparently been captivated to his precociousness and has dispatched an emissary to oversee him.

He is not yet 16 years old yet Endrick is already a fantastic player. Nike has jumped at the opportunity to capitalize on the craze by providing him a contract to supply the company with equipment.
