Six clubs are said to be interested in signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before the January transfer deadline next Monday, with Arsenal keen to move the former club captain.

The January transfer window is now in its final stages, and the 32-year-old remains heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal after losing his captaincy at the north London club last month due to a disciplinary issue.

Since then, Aubameyang has not appeared for Arsenal's first team.

The ex-Borussia Dortmund forward is no longer in Mikel Arteta's plans, according to sources in London.

There have been proposals from

Who is keen on Aubameyang?

According to the Telegraph, six clubs are interested in signing Aubameyang before the end of the month, but his wages are likely to be an issue.

AC Milan, Juventus, PSG, Marseille, Newcastle United, and Barcelona are all said to be interested in the Gabonese international, but the amount he earns will be something any potential suitor must consider.

Furthermore, Arsenal is said to prefer a permanent move for Aubameyang, whereas some of the aforementioned interested parties would prefer an initial loan deal, which would require Arsenal to fund a portion of the striker's wages.

What about incomings?

Aubameyang could be on his way out, but will Arsenal be able to bring anyone in before next week's transfer deadline?

According to football.london, the Gunners have yet to hear back from Dusan Vlahovic's representatives, making a move this month extremely unlikely.

The 21-year-old is of interest to Arsenal, who are looking for a new striker due in part to the situation with Aubameyang.

With a move for Vlahovic now looking unlikely, the north London club is looking at other options, including Alexander Isak and Jonathan David.

Arsenal also hopes to complete the loan signing of Arthur Melo in the coming days, but Juventus will only sanction an 18-month deal with an option to extend  as part of the contract.

Youri Tielemans of Leicester City is another midfielder being scouted by the Gunners, with the Belgian international piqued Arteta's and the club's interest.
