Kickgh.com can exclusively report that the former Black Stars centre-contract back's with the Saudi Arabian top-flight league club was terminated after only five months.
After being considered surplus to needs by the club's technical gurus, the 34-year-old has been offloaded by the King Salman Sport City Stadium outfit.
Following his poor performance at Al Fayha since his signing in August last year, Ghana international John Boye has been discharged by the Saudi Arabian club.
Boye has struggled for playing time after joining Al Fayha on a free transfer last summer after finishing his contract with FC Metz in French Ligue 1.
In all competitions, he only made five appearances for Al Fayha, totaling 96 minutes.
Boye previously played for Stade Rennes, Sivasspor, and Kayseri Erciyesspor of Turkey's second tier.
He has 68 senior Ghana caps to his name, scoring five goals in the process.
