Liverpool transfer rumours, gossip, and speculation, including the latest on Luis Diaz, Youri Tielemans, Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Fabio Carvalho, Raphinha, Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino, and many others.

Welcome to the Liverpool ECHO's Deadline Day live blog, where you can keep up with the latest Liverpool news and transfer rumors.

The January transfer window has closed, but there is still time for potential incomings and outgoings at the club.

We'll keep you updated on Liverpool's pursuit of Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho, who they made a late bid for on Sunday.

Elsewhere, we'll have all the latest on potential departures such as Divock Origi, who has been linked with a move away from Anfield, and Leeds United, who are reportedly'stepping up' their interest in Takumi Minamino.

Fulham confirm Neco Williams move

Fulham have confirmed the loan signing of Liverpool defender Neco Williams for the remainder of the season.

"Neco is a great young talent, and I'm delighted to welcome him to Fulham for the rest of the season," said vice chairman Tony Khan in a club statement.

It's critical, especially now that Denis [Odoi] is leaving the Club, to bring in a player of Neco's caliber to ensure the squad's strength."

Liverpool's move for Fabio Carvalho falls through, but a new plan emerges.

Despite the dramatic collapse of their proposed move for Fulham teenager Fabio Carvalho on deadline day, Liverpool are still trying to sign him.

Just hours before the 11 p.m. deadline on Monday, the Reds agreed a fee with the Cottagers for attacking midfielder Carvalho, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Liverpool was then in a race against the clock to negotiate personal terms, complete the player's medical, and file the necessary paperwork.

The deal, however, fell through due to Fulham's insistence that the 19-year-old remain on loan at Craven Cottage for the remainder of the season.

Divock Origi's future has been the subject of conflicting reports.

There have been conflicting reports about Divock Origi's future.

Earlier, it was reported that Atalanta was interested in the Belgian striker.

Belgian journalist Sven Claes, however, has stated that Origi will remain at Liverpool, and Sky Sports has also ruled out a possible transfer to West Ham.

Dharmesh Sheth, as quoted on Sky Sports' transfer centre, said: "I was told yesterday to expect a twist with regard to Divock Origi; there were a lot of rumours that West Ham might be interested in him."

"They then contacted me again to say West Ham would not pursue Origi."
