Ghanaian female artiste, OV who was formerly a member of Burniton Music (a record label owned by one of the top musicians in Ghana, Stonebwoy) has given out the main cause of her disappearance from the group.
It was all over the media some years back that the female artiste teamed up with Kelvynboy (Ghanaian Afrobeat artiste who was also a Burniton Music signee) and Blakk Cedi (former manager of Stonebwoy) to dismiss from the record label.
Some other given out reasons was that Stonebwoy had some issues with his former manager, Blakk Cedi of which they failed to reconcile and for that matter, it resulted in his split with the Burniton Music Label boss and OV, on the other hand, was on Blakk Cedi's side so she based on that to leave.
She has now come out to clarify the reason in an interview she had with Sammykay Media and based on what she said, all those news about her dismissal from the group weren't true.
Below was what the female artiste said about why she left the group.
“Let me correct myself: I did not take sides. After a press release stating that he had laid me off, I mean, he didn't say that, but that is exactly what occurred; he laid me off. He claimed he needed to make a change to the label, which is why I remained away as well.”
