Tanguy Ndombele has conceded he battled to settle at Tottenham and uncovered the consistent manager changes didn't help.
The French midfielder was acquired as Spurs' record marking in the mid year of 2019 however his appearance corresponded with a decline in the club's fortunes, as their structure drooped under Mauricio Pochettino and afterward Jose Mourinho.
Between time supervisor Ryan Mason seldom played the midfielder, while Nuno Espirito Santo didn't fancy him during his short residency in north London.
His last debut came during the FA Cup triumph over Morecambe when he was booed off the pitch, with current manager Antonio Conte before long giving his approval to a credit move to Lyon.
Ndombele said: "I've known five managers in more than two years. It's not their shortcoming, but rather I battled a piece at Tottenham. I needed something different. Lyon, since I know it, it's smarter to adjust."
There had been theory that Ndombele would rejoin previous Spurs manager Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain, and he has uncovered how the adventure worked out.
There were converses with a considerable amount of clubs, yet there was a hole among words and activities. I have three and a half months before the finish of the period, and Lyon isn't terrible for me. I left through the front entryway, and returning is a danger. I faced that challenge.
"I believe I'm a preferable player over when I left. I learned things in England, regardless of whether it work out positively. I'm better truly and intellectually."
On a possible re-visitation of Tottenham, he added: "It's not finished. I actually have a place with the club. I didn't have strain from the exchange sum."
Ndombele had brief snapshots of positive structure - oddly essentially under troublesome manager Mourinho - yet has fallen behind Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp and Harry Winks in the midfield food chain, while Rodrigo Bentancur has been acquired from Juventus.
