LONDON FOOTBALL AWARDS 2022: CHELSEA AND WEST HAM LEAD PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE YEAR CANDIDATES

West Ham's Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen will rival Chelsea triplet Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, and Jorginho to win Premier League Player of the Year 2021-22 at the London Football Awards in March.


Rice has been one of only a handful of exceptional stars of England's Euro 2020 mission to keep up with excellent condition this season, while Bowen has straightforwardly added to 13 Premier League objectives for David Moyes' side.


A serious waitlist is finished by Rudiger, Silva, and Jorginho, who has kept on dazzling Thomas Tuchel's European bosses.

Tottenham pair Jessica Naz and Esther Morgan will contend with West Ham's Melisa Filis on a more modest waitlist for Women's Young Player of the Year. The adjudicators, which incorporate the Evening Standard, will likewise settle on Community Project of the Year, which has been reduced to commitments from Arsenal, Chelsea, and QPR.
