West Ham winger Andriy Yarmolenko has been charged by the Football Association (FA) with supposed wrongdoing according to an appearance in a wagering advert in his local Ukraine.
The FA reported on Friday that Yarmolenko has been accused of a break of FA Rule E8.5 adhering to a "claimed occurrence of offense according to publicizing or potentially advancing a wagering movement in his own ability."
"The West Ham United FC forward is restricted from such movement as a member in English football, and it is asserted that his appearance in an advert for a Ukrainian wagering organization comprises offense," the FA articulation read.
The charge connects with a promoting effort run by a wagering organization in Yarmolenko's nation of origin. It has no connection to the player or anybody related to him putting down wagers.
Yarmolenko marked an arrangement to advance the organization while he was playing for Borussia Dortmund in Germany, where guidelines didn't forestall such arrangements at that point.
