Stress is
a fundamental factor in our livelihood. From waking up early so, you don't miss
your flight ✈️, to waiting for the Uber driver to pick you up, to working at a 9-5
job, to exercising, to taking your car for servicing, (😒don't even get me started with
driving🚘), to even reading a book📗. Our lives are surrounded by daily and regular
activities that cause us to feel stressed. So why try to avoid it while we can
live with it?
So, I've compiled a list of four
ways to have fun with stress to live a life to accept, balance, and
appreciate the world we live in. And it all starts with...
What universities ultimately teach you these days is completing tasks and finishing them before the deadline. They don't inspire the youth to enjoy the
process of learning and re-learning, but instead, they want them to aim for perfection. The more mistakes we make, the more we grow to really
understand what we are and how the world around us works.
WHAT TO DO: Don't be afraid to start anything; just do it.
If what you planned does not work out, don't be discouraged; you can always try
again. The more you learn and re-learn from your failures, the more confidence
you get in ways that no one seems to grasp. It teaches you, makes you socially
acceptable, and makes you feel loved no matter how many times you struggle with
it. (Because at the end, you'd have a fantastic story to tell others).
Don't make the same mistakes again, but instead, use the energy you used to make that mistake to good use. Repetition is a fascinating phenomenon that occurs all around us every day. After a few days of repetition, that awful tune your friend keeps playing turns out to be something unique to you all along. If the first approach you tried didn't work, you could always try a fun one😄.
WHAT TO DO: Find
anything that piques your interest or something you've always wanted to do
(swimming, writing, reading, cooking, filmmaking, playing football, traveling,
gaming...) and keep exploring. Continue to learn what's new or what's better.
And put them into practice. Now, using the same energy you used with your
interest, try doing it with something you find less attractive, and let's see
what happens then😄.
Many businesses seek that courageous individual who can take the riskiest of chances
while surviving and sustaining the battle at the end of the day. You can't
just see an opportunity that looks like it'll make you money and jump on it.
The risks you take must be in accordance with your objectives.
WHAT TO DO: Determine
the one thing that piques your attention and keeps you up at night (and no, I'm
not talking about drugs or booze). Make SMART objectives for what you can do to
transform your passion into a skill to equip yourself with. Then, leave the
rest to the internet to locate an opportunity that matches your objectives.
Then you just go for it. Don't be scared to take chances.
And just like that...
I realize that you're the one listening to 90's music and playing with your
rolling chair because you've learned how fantastic your job is. Finally,
everyone looks up to you because you are eager, entertaining, and energetic.
But you don't tell them how because it's your secret weapon...and that's not
being up to world standards. Because you want to stand out. To make a positive
difference for the greater good (and, of course, to have fun!)😉.
WHAT TO DO: Try to
discover something that distinguishes you. What differentiates you from the
rest of your peers? Connect with individuals all around the globe who have
"similar" abilities to you and form a community with them. Discuss
your life objectives and experiences with them to discover how enlightened you
feel.
