NOMINATIONS OFFICIALLY CLOSED FOR 6TH GHANA BEVERAGES AWARDS

The organizers of the famous Ghana Beverage Awards (GBA), Global Media Alliance, have officially announced the end of nominations for the 6th edition of the awards, which will take place in March this year.

The nominations were open from December 15, 2021 until February 7, 2022, and allowed the general public and beverage corporations to choose their favorite beverages from 18 competitive categories that included both domestic and international beverages.

Over 500 nominations were received in total, including both brand and public submissions.

Ernest Boateng, CEO of the Global Media Alliance, thanked Ghanaians and beverage companies for their support and patronage throughout the years, as well as for consistently participating in the nomination phase, which helped to ensure a successful conclusion.

We've witnessed an increase in the amount of entries for this phase throughout the years. This shows that Ghanaians and beverage companies in Ghana are enthusiastic about the awards program. As organizers, we appreciate their tremendous support and the trust they have placed in us, and we vow our dedication to the beverage industry's growth through this means.

The event's subject is "Inspiring Excellence," and it will take place on March 22nd.


With the passage of time, the award program has established itself as a tool for promoting best practices in the beverage industry, as well as a benchmark for recognising beverage companies that are in touch with their markets and contribute significantly to the Ghanaian economy.


A beverage sector tour will be organized in February for the GBA board to visit all nominated industries to familiarize themselves with their work and practices in advance of this year's awards.


Additionally, Beverage Segments would be established across selected media platforms as a strategy to entice the public ahead of the main event while showcasing our local beverages and boosting the public's understanding of their favorite beverages.
