Investigative journalist at the fourth estate, Manasseh Azure Awuni has expressed his disappointment in the coup comments made by the lead convenor of the fixthecountry movement, Oliver Baker Womavor.
Addressing the arrest and on going court process of popular fixthecountry activist, Manasseh believe the comment made by Mr. Oliver Baker Womavor was reckless and irresponsible.
"I support the fixthecountry movement and I was impressed with the statement Oliver made on Newsfile and I took it to my Facebook page to applaud him. It will be difficult to endorse something from the group because you might not know what are intentions behind it. I may find it difficult supporting the fixthecountry openly henceforth.
Mr. Oliver Baker Womavor was last Friday arrested at the Kotoka International Airport upon arrival after a post he made on Facebook. For over 24 hours, his lawyer, friends and family couldn't locate him.
He was arraigned before court on Monday, February 14 and charged with treason felony. He is expected to make a second appearance in court on 28th February, 2022.
