The Summit will focus on the chocolate industry and its contribution to economic prosperity.

The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), Ghana Exports Promotion Authority (GEPA), EXIM Bank, and Ghana Cocoa Value Addition Artisans Association are all partners in the Chocolatarium (COVAAGH).

High-profile figures such as the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dr Mohammed Awal; GEPA CEO, Dr Afua Asabea Asare; COCOBOD CEO, Joseph Boahen-Aidoo; GEA CEO, Kosi Yankey-Ayeh; and CEO of GIPC, Yofi Grant will attend the event on Monday, February 21 at the Kempinski Grand Hotel.

Speaking during the inaugural edition of this event, the Authority's CEO, Akwasi Agyeman, stated that the summit aims to bring together stakeholders from throughout the chocolate value chain to debate ideas for value creation and support for artisanal chocolate producers.

"After a successful commemoration/celebration of the 2nd edition of National Chocolate Week, the GTA is presenting the Chocolatarium Business Summit to highlight ways in which we may reap the economic benefits of chocolates while boosting its consumption," he continued.

"We'll also look into measures to increase chocolate sales for local chocolatiers." This summit promises to be enlightening and thought-provoking."
