The university teachers association of Ghana has left on a strike for just about seven weeks now. Understudies in different university across every one of the 15 colleges in Ghana are abandoned and they all don't have the foggiest idea when this strike will reach a conclusion.
Last week the court conceded the desire of the national Labor commission and asked the university teachers association to cancel their strike ,return to their different auditoriums and proceed with their exchange with the government.
In any case, tragically the heads of utag didn't acknowledge the decision of the court and made it clear to the public that they will meet their legal advisors and examine what to do straightaway.
The association had a crisis meeting today 21st February 2022 at the university of expert investigations on the continuous strike, Student were anticipating something great from their gathering today, however the way things are , the association are still on it needs requesting what they need from the government.
They have recorded a stay execution against the court request to cancel their strike.
Meaning a stay execution is a court request documented to briefly suspend any request or judgment given by the court.
The utag are presently intending to postpone the court request which advised them to get once again to auditoriums and proceed with exchange with the government.
Agreeing Metro television, the Government has put out MoU to utag to cancel the strike however there is a split front between the utag pioneers to either acknowledge it all not.
