UTAG SUSPEND STRIKE ACTION (DETAILS)

On the 10th of January 2022, UTAG embarked on a strike action demanding for a better condition of service . The strike over 5 weeks where NLC sued UTAG for embarking in an undeceived strike and the court later ordered UTAG to call off the strike.

In an emergency meeting on the 21st February 2022 , NEC of UTAG has decided to suspend the action for 2 weeks to get to the negotiation table with the Government.
