Mohamad Salah leads the top of the charts as the best goals scorer in the English Premier League once again this weekend after a win against Liverpool. This was the result of a penalty shot taking place versus Aston Villa in Anfield, a key play for soccer Betway.

The player, who is a two-time recipient of the award for African Footballer of the Year, has managed to net in 14 league goals over the course of the season, up 5 from Jamie Vardy, the veteran of Leicester City.

Furthermore, Salah represents only one of the 3 African players in the top sharpshooters category for soccer Betway, as this prestige is shared amongst Emmanuel Davis of Nigeria and Sadio Mane of Senegalese.

SALAH

He managed to score the 21st goal of his career for this season in every competition to defeat Liverpool in a 1-0 match against Villa. He netted a penalty shot after a foul on behalf of Tyrone Mings. His single penalty, the 15th successful one he has taken in a row, now leaves Liverpool a single point behind Manchester City.

DAKA

The striker of Zambia aided Leicester in decimating Newcastle with a game that ended in 4-0 with his goal, the 7th of his career this season, taking place at the King Power Stadium. With a seamless finish from the pass of Harvey Barnes, Daka scored to place Leicester up two points.

DENNIS

This winger managed to grab a 7th goal to record for his total of 15 appearances in the Premier League, and yet he failed to prevent the 2-1 loss at Brentford. He maintained his exceptional run since Club Brugge signed him by heading the lowly Watford just shy of 24 minutes into the match.

MANDI

Algerias all-star defender managed to aid Villareal in securing a 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano and La Liga. He provided this lead at the back post in the first half of the match prior to Gerard Moreno doubling it.

ANGUISSA

Fans of Napoli were looking forward to the midfielder Anguissas return after his injury upon witnessing a comical and calamitous appearance. Anguissa managed to clear the flick of Patrik Cutrone from the back corner onto his head and witnessed the ball ricocheting into his own net. Cutrones score led Napoli to conclude the weekend in 4th place, having trailed the league prior to the fixtures of last weekend.

BENSEBAINI

The left-back from Algeria scored for the 1st time during the season when he managed to turn the tide to 2-1 in the matchs 88th minute at RB Leipzig.

TAPSOBA

This defender of Burkina Faso was at fault when conceding the first of up to 6 goals in a defeat against Frankfurt. Leverkusen was up 2-0 when Jonathan Tah and Tapsoba were in each others way, allowing Frankfurt back into the match. The home side soon equalized before rampaging towards a 5-2 victory and equalizing the home side.

NANTES

Nigerias winger had begun all but a single League 1 game prior to being dropped for a match against Lens. When his team was down 2-0 at the 30-minute point, Simon was sent in as a substitute and managed to score a winner.
