UTAG STRIKE: UG LECTURERS VOTE AGAINST SUSPENSION OF STRIKE, ACADEMIC WORK REMAINS ON HOLD

The University of Ghana (UG) branch of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), has voted against a choice by the National Official Committee of the Affiliation to suspend its nationwide strike.



In a count result marked by the Appointive Commissioner of the UTAG-UG department, Dr. Guiltless Lawson, 596 UTAG individuals voted against the suspension of the strike; whereas a few 127 others voted to acknowledge the choice by the National Official Committee of UTAG to suspend the strike.
