PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (PCE), AKROPONG USHERS LEVEL 200 STUDENTS BACK ON CAMPUS.

All Colleges of Education closed for vacation on August 3, 2021, and were supposed to reopen in October or November, but due to COVID 19 and other public emergencies, Colleges were unable to open.

The dates were rescheduled for January 2022. While Level 200s wait for their date to return to campus from Home, Level 100s (freshmen) and 300s arrive on campus in early January.

Finally, on the 20th of January 2022, our dear Level 200s returned to campus. Dr. Nicholas Siaw Apreh, the current principal of PCE Akropong, presided over the opening ceremony.

A roll call was held prior to the start of the opening prayers because some students, including myself, were late.

The opening ceremony was led by the college secretary.

Dr. Nicholas Siaw mentioned some issues he noticed with the guys, such as their hairdos, dressing, and other issues, to name a few. He instructed all male students to keep their hair short as he was using one level 300 student as a haircut marking scheme (my fellow students can relate lol).

He went on to warn us about the males' trousers, emphasizing the importance of wearing very skinny trousers.

Although he didn't say much about the ladies, he did warn students not to be seen in illegal places because even though two students had already been expelled from the institution.

The College Secretary requested that the Vice Chaplain end the ceremony session for our departure.
