Newcastle United are keeping an eye on Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa as they prepare to bolster their Premier League squad. Newcastle United are rumored to be interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer.

Arrizabalaga, a Spanish international, has been a back-up goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge in recent months, with Edouard Mendy firmly entrenched as the Blues' first option.

After joining Chelsea for £72 million from Athletic Club in 2018, Arrizabalaga became the most expensive goalkeeper in world football.

Due to his lack of first-team experience, both Kepa and Chelsea are considering selling him in the next months, with Chelsea's current asking price of £50 million.

The Magpies might make a dramatic bid for him, according to the Daily Star, as part of an expected huge summer of spending at St. James' Park.

With rising worries about Jan Oblak's play so far this season, La Liga heavyweights Atletico Madrid have been linked with a possible transfer for the 27-year-old.
