Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
After shining in a 23-minute cameo for the Catalans on Sunday, Ousmane Dembele has sent a message to Manchester United and Chelsea. Dembele's contract with the club expires at the conclusion of the season, and he has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Dembele was supposed to have a bright career at the top of the game when Barcelona paid £96.8 million plus add-ons to lure him away from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
During his tenure at the Nou Camp, however, he has been plagued by a series of significant injuries and has failed to make the impact that Barca management had hoped for.
In his five seasons in Spain, the 24-year-old has only made 134 appearances, the most of which have come from the bench. After undergoing knee surgery last summer, he missed the first three months of this season.
Since his return in November, Dembele has made 16 appearances.
The star was listed on the bench for his team's La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, and he came in midway through the second period to replace ex-Manchester City forward Ferran Torres.

When Dembele entered the game, Barcelona had a 1-0 lead, and the France international had an immediate effect.
The midfielder hammered the ball past visiting goalkeeper Unai Simon from a tight angle just six minutes after joining the game to extend his side's lead.
He then turned provider, teeing up Luuk de Jong and Memphis Depay, who both scored late goals as Barcelona won 4-0.
Dembele's performance will excite the curiosity of the Red Devils and Blues, who have been connected with the player recently - and he demonstrated that he has what it takes to succeed in England.
The Sun reported in early February that Dembele's representatives had begun talks with United.
However, claims appeared last week claiming that Chelsea had already agreed on a contract to bring Dembele to Stamford Bridge.
As a result, the Premier League rivals may face a transfer struggle as they try to reinforce their respective rosters.
Dembele will undoubtedly want to prove his worth on the grandest stage of all, and United's hopes to sign him could be thwarted if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Ralf Rangnick's side were held to a 0-0 Premier League draw by Watford on Saturday, and if Arsenal win any of their remaining three games, they would drop to fourth place.
Chelsea may gain an advantage as a result of this, and the west Londoners will be anxious to add more firepower after struggling to break down opponents' defenses at times this season.
So it'll be interesting to watch which club, if either, can close the deal.
