SHOW INTEREST IN THE BURNING OF EXCAVATORS – MINERS TO GOVERNMENT

A few mineworkers at Ntobroso in Atwima Mponua Locale of the Ashanti Locale are calling on the government to appear intrigued within the burning of excavators and a house by the military.

 

 

The wronged mineworkers say the activity by the military is illegal.

 

Proprietor of the house crushed by fire, Edward Gyamfi, alleges he was a target of the military operation.

 

Agreeing to sources, the diggers challenged against the military’s activity within the town.

 

 

One of the inhabitants told the media, “In case not for ECG authorities who turned off the transformer, the whole town would have burnt.”

 

 

He said children had to run into the bush.

 

“A few went for their kids at Botomuriso and Aniamoa. Why ought to it happen? The President ought to wake up. A few individuals are disfavoring him.”

 

 

The diggers at first congregated within the center of town with their signature notices, communicating their discontent with the military activity and its results.

 

“The excavators have been burnt, and what the military did was off-base.  So the government ought to tell us when the house will be revamped,” another inhabitant told JoyNews.

 

The diggers affirm that three excavators, a house, 450 pounds of gold, a cement shop, corn process and a open can were burnt amid the military operation.

 

 

Concurring to Mr. Gyamfi, his excavators have been pressed within the house over the past three months. He was shocked the military raged his house and burnt them.

 

“A part of individuals were calling me but I chosen not to reply their calls.

 

A certain man I bought a machine from afterward called and told me, my excavators were annihilated. But I said, it was affirm.

 

 

The calls never ceased, but I didn’t choose up. I was still in Kumasi. Afterward I had a call that, my house was burnt.

Mr. Gyamfi said everything counting his family’s dress got burnt.

 

 

He is hence calling for government’s intercession.
