Ahead of his long-awaited show at the London O2 Arena, award-winning Nigerian singer Davido has secured a top-notch endorsement from an A-lister in Hollywood.

 Morgan Freeman, a veteran American actor and narrator, gifted Davido’s promo video with his fantastic voice for his concert in London.

Morgan used Davido’s mantra of “we rise by lifting others” to carry his message across in the beautiful film that has gone viral.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, Patoranking has opened up about his struggles and frustrations while dealing with poverty as a youngster coming up in the music business.

In a recent podcast conducted by gospel musician Tim Godfrey, Patoranking portrayed poverty as a battle he had no alternative but to win. He went on to say that he now wants other youngsters in the ghetto to know that they, too, can succeed.

In his submission he said: “Growing up, I had always known I would make it (be successful). Not because there was everything around me, but because that was the only option I had. Coming from the slum, poverty mindset does not give one the opportunity to think far. It was a fight and I won. I told myself I want to become a symbol of hope to other kids living in the slum. I want them to know it is possible for them to be successful,”
