He mentioned that, he has stated before that, he always take decision in the best interest of the club. But in the current situation he has taken decision to sell the club. And this is also in the best interest of the club, fans, employees, club sponsors and partners.

Sale of the club will not be fast-tracked but it will follow the due process. Due to the war, all net proceeds from the sale will be donated to the victims of Ukraine. It is a incredible difficult decision to make and am at pain to part with the club in this manner.

I will visit Stamford Bridge in last time to say goodbye to all of you in person.
