Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament and Minister of Gender, Children and Social Affairs, Sarah Adwoa Safo has written to the Speaker of Parliament.
Speaking about the fate of the Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament who is allegedly said to be holding government to ransom and demanding to be reinstated as deputy majority leader, the majority revealed that she has written to the Speaker of Parliament demanding four additional weeks break from the law making chamber to enable her cater for her daughter undergoing therapy in the United States of America.
Mrs. Adwoa Safo has been absent from Parliament for more than 15 days which has triggered a petition by a Former MP to the Speaker to apply the laws according to the constitution and the standing orders of Parliament.
Kennedy Agyapong, Henry Quartey and one other MP from the NPP's side are also said to have absented themselves from the house for more than 15 days.
