We've included instructions on "How to Apply for BECE/WASSCE Remarking" in this post to assist you.Candidates and other stakeholders in WAEC-administered exams can request or ask for their scripts to be remarked.
Candidates who are displeased with the results released have requested commenting.
Remarking requests can be made to WAEC if a candidate has grounds to believe the results should have been better than what has been revealed for him or her. Candidates must be completely confident in themselves before selecting for commenting, as they will be charged for each course or subject remarked.Candidates for the 2021 BECE exam, whose results were revealed on February 28, 2022, are currently complaining on social media and pleading with WAEC to annotate their scripts.
Some candidates are oddly implying that their scripts were not even marked, and that remarking is required to defend them.
The truth is that WAEC has well-defined procedures for applicants who are unhappy with their own performance and want to double-check the marking and marks issued.
Requests for re-marking of any WAEC-administered exam must be submitted within two months (60 days) after the exam results being released.Students who want their scripts noted for the BECE 2021 results, which will be issued in February 2022, must request for commenting before April 30, 2022.
