If you haven't noticed it yet then let me be the first to announce it. Single parenting is now the norm now.

Usually when anyone mentions "single parent" , the only picture we imagine is a single mother. This is mostly because the fathers sometimes deny responsibility or totally disappear from the picture.

The main idea here would be to think that the man was not responsible enough or isn't ready to settle down and start up a proper family. Please understand that nowadays that is rarely the case. Women now have a greater say in whom they choose as a life partner.

Hence the "baby mama" phenomenon. I'll address this further in my next article. ~McCrime.
