THINGS ARE NOT AS THEY SEEM
It's all too tempting to believe that we know more than others and that we can do things better. We are frequently critical of others' work and pass harsh judgment on them. What is the reason for this? It's probably simply human nature.
Ninety percent of an iceberg is said to be under water. We just see a little portion of it.
As is the case with the majority of things in life. We frequently believe we see the entire picture when we just see a portion of it. We're tempted to believe we know a lot about something when we can't begin to comprehend the sacrifice, labor, blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into it!
We all need to be forgiven for a variety of reasons. We all need to remember a couple of our own errors and stop being so demanding.
Lord, grant us the ability to be more kind, understanding, and accepting of others!
Affirmation: I recognize that I am not able to perceive everything. I'm going to wait until You, Lord, give me the whole picture.
If a man believes he knows something, he does not know as much as he should. (8:2) (1 Corinthians)
