According to a letter sighted by myblogpay.com, she revealed that the Presidency cannot fund this year's Independence day as was done in previous years and entreated them to be modest in celebrating.
"I am directed to inform your Regional coordinating councils that due to the financial budget constraints of the office of the President, we cannot fund your council for the 65th Independence day celebration on 6th March as has been done in previous years. You are therefore entreated to be modest in our 65th anniversary celebration activities", this was contained in a wireless message sent all 16 Regional coordinating councils.
Ghana's 65th anniversary celebration is expected to be held in the Central Region of Ghana this year.
