Juventus is said to have approached Mino Raiola as they move closer to signing Paul Pogba on a free transfer this summer.

Pogba's Manchester United contract expires at the end of the season, and he is generally expected to depart the club.

Between 2012 and 2016, the French midfielder made 178 appearances for Juventus in a four-year stay with the club.

Juventus has initiated talks with super-agent Raiola, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, in order to guarantee Pogba's return.

According to the report, the Turin club is willing to pay the 28-year-old a £6.2 million annual wage, which could increase to £8.3 million if add-ons are factored in. As Pogba's contract with Manchester United nears its end, curiosity over his future continues to grow.

When the World Cup winner becomes available in the summer, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing him.

Pogba has only scored once in 20 appearances for United in all competitions this season, having missed two months with a hamstring injury.

The midfielder previously played for Juventus, where he won four Serie A titles and twice the Coppa Italia, as well as helping the club reach the 2015 Champions League final.
