MANCHESTER UNITED is expected to be very active during the summer transfer window.
Juan Mata is expected to lead an exodus from Manchester United this summer, according to reports. The former Chelsea ace 'will leave the club' at the end of the season, according to reports.
Earlier this year, reports stated that a number of players were dissatisfied at the club, and Mata is one of the stars who has failed to find consistent playing time this season.
This season, the 33-year-old has been left out of the first-team picture at Old Trafford, making only one Premier League appearance.
Mata only signed a 12-month agreement at the end of last season, but he's on the verge of leaving United after failing to impress interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
According to The Athletic, a number of La Liga clubs are keeping a close eye on Mata's situation.

When his eight-year contract with United expires at the end of the season, the veteran playmaker will be available for free.
Mata established his reputation in England with Chelsea, where he scored 33 goals in 135 games to help the Blues win the FA Cup and the Champions League.
That was enough to persuade United to sign him after he was left out of Chelsea's squad by former manager Jose Mourinho.
Mata went on to score 55 goals in 277 games for the Red Devils, but has become a bit of a bystander at the club in recent years.

Mata isn't the only Manchester United player contemplating a summer departure.
Marcus Rashford is allegedly evaluating his future at Manchester United after being left out of the starting lineup for Sunday's humiliating 4-1 loss to Manchester City.
According to the Guardian, the United academy graduate is'seriously considering' submitting a transfer request at the conclusion of the season due to his reduced playing time.
After Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani were ruled out, Rangnick decided to start Sunday's crucial Manchester derby without a known forward, presenting a picture of Rashford's sad fall from favor this season.

Under the German, the 24-year-old has only started two of United's previous 11 league games, and he is upset with his current status at his boyhood club.
Rashford's contract is set to expire in the summer of 2023, although United are thought to have an option to extend it for another year, potentially complicating matters.
While some reports indicate Rashford is keen to turn things around and reclaim his place in the team, if he fails to force his way back into Rangnick's plans in the coming weeks, the attacker may be forced to make a major decision in the summer.
