Cesc Fabregas, Monaco's midfielder, has identified the two young players that represent Arsenal's present and future. The 34-year-old Spanish midfielder, who previously played for Barcelona and Chelsea, has identified Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard as Arsenal's present and future. Cesc Fabregas posted the above statement on his official Twitter page following Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard's outstanding first-half performance in Arsenal's Premier League match against Watford. Both teenagers were involved in Arsenal's first-half goals against lowly Watford.
Odegaard opened the scoring in the fifth minute following a superb one-two with Saka.
Saka scored in the 30th minute to restore Arsenal's lead after Cucho Hernandez leveled the game in the 11th minute with a fantastic overhead kick.
Arsenal won the game 3-2 thanks to two second-half goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Moussa Sissoko.
Arsenal have been led by Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard this season. The two young Gunners have combined for 12 goals and eight assists in all competitions this season for their club.
