Gabriel Martinelli, a former Arsenal player, is still pleased with his time with the club.
With 23 appearances and four goals this season, the Brazilian, who joined the London club from Ituano in 2019, is now seeing more regular playing time.
Martinelli, who was recently interviewed by ESPN Brasil, not only expressed his belief in Arsenal's future, but also stated that he has no intention of leaving the club anytime soon.
"We have a young group, we have a lot of time ahead of us, we have a lot of quality players, and I believe we will achieve great things." The Champions League is our priority."
Martinelli spoke to ESPN Brasil.
"We're vying for a spot in the top four." Arsenal must compete in the Champions League. It is our sole focus." We are always looking for more. Of course, Arsenal is a massive club. If I can, I'll live here for the rest of my life. I want to conquer things, and as I previously stated, I want to stay here and win championships with these wonderful fans and teammates."
Martinelli also spoke about his move to England and Arsenal.
He had previously played for a non-league club in Brazil and found himself in a new country with different weather and a different type of football being played. To overcome this, he claims Emiliano Martinez, a key figure at the club, played a key role in his success.
"It was a huge step for me." I was at Ituano, I lived in Itu, and I moved to London to play for Arsenal. It was a little complicated, but my family was always there for me and helped me at all times, both on and off the field. "I always had Emi's support at the club." He was always there for me and helped me a lot. His wife and he both speak Portuguese. He was very important to me; he assisted me in adjusting to the club and the country... It was a little easier with my family here. But it was a big leap, and it was a good one. " There's a thud. Every time you leave Itu, the temperature drops by 30 degrees Every day, I play at Ituano and travel to London. But everyone, Emi, and my family, made it a little easier for me."
