Legendary Ghanaian footballer Sulley Muntari has finally issued an apology to Moses Armah Parker in a letter to the Ghana Football Association 8-years after beating him during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Sulley Muntari and other players fumed a day to the final group game against Portugal over the delay of the appearance fees.

In the heat of the agitation, a brawl happened between Sulley Muntari and then Black Stars Management Committee member Moses Armah Parker.

It was reported at the time that Sulley Muntari slapped the management member during the heated argument and later stormed his room and destroyed all his electronic gadgets.

This led to the suspension of Sulley Muntari from the Black Stars together with his then A.C Milan team mate Kevin Prince Boateng who insulted the then coach Akwesi Appiah.

The Justice Dzamefe Commission which was set up to investigate Ghana’s shameful behavior at the 2014 World Cup recommended that Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng should be recalled to the team if and only they apologize.

8-years on, Sulley Muntari has finally apologized via an official letter to the Ghana Football Association.
