The Nursing and Midwifery Council in partnership with the Human Resource Division on the Ghana Health Service will quickly prepare a profession development and improvement workshop for all nursing and midwifery practitioners.
The Registrar of the Council, Mr. Felix Nyante disclosed this in the course of an operation go to to the Northern Region in which he met students, Tutors and Nursing and Midwifery Practitioners at the subsequent places:
1. College of Health Sciences, Yendi
2. District Hospital, Yendi
3. Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Gushegu
4. District Hospital, Gushegu
Mr. Nyante careworn that the workshop had turn out to be important for the Council and GHS to collaborate and sensitize practitioners on topics regarding their profession.
He stated that the workshop could be designed to offer practitioners with a dependent pathway of records that encourages their improvement, builds their expertise and allows them to develop in my view and professionally.
