Turmoil in NPP heightened as party leadership accused of manipulating electoral processes.
Former Energy Minister and aspiring Presidential hopeful of the New Patriotic Party, Boakye Agyarko has descended heavily on the leadership of the NPP for deliberately scheming processes to favor their interest in the ongoing polling station elections of the party.
Some constituencies including Keta, Kade, Manhyia North, Akwatia, New Juaben North and South, Fomena, Bantama, Ningo-Prampram, Takyiman South, Savelugu, Assin North, Ejisu, Mampong and Kwadaso have witnessed violent clashes in the ongoing polling station elections.
Boakye Agyarko fumed over the lack of transparency and shameful manipulation of the party's polling station elections by some incumbent Members of Parliament and executives.
He says the National Executive Committee is fully aware of the deliberate and blatant disregard of due processes but has remained dumb and turned a blind eye to the wrongs to destroy the party.
He describes the deliberate silence and the brushing under the carpet posture as the fruits of bad leadership across all levels.
"Nobody must be allowed to break the party's regulations and there must be transparency and a level playing field", he bemoaned.
