As I was reading about current events in the system on one of my social media platforms (Facebook) today. During the scrolling activity, a recently issued Five Ghana Cedis note came across my view, and I critically examined it at first but became perplexed.

However, as I zoomed in on the image I saw while surfing over the internet, it revealed five Ghanaian artists. The caption that was taken reads: the present music industry's big six artists.
Sarkodie, Kwame Eugene, Black Sheriff, Kidi, Stonebowy, and Shatta Wale are the names of the artists. As of right moment, I feel the above-mentioned names are the most popular artists in the music industry. Most netizens were questioning this new development in the country and wondered why Bank of Ghana would want to honour these people in this manner.
What have they done for the country, exactly? Is this really required?
